Brittany Harlin is a born-again House Head, Dancer Choreographer, Singer Songwriter, and is thrilled to continue her journey and love for multidisciplinary performance with Urban Theater Company. She is the recipient of the Sybil Shearer Fellowship, as well as the Chicago Dancemakers Forum Lab Artist Award. Some of her productions and collaborations have included commissions from Museum of Contemporary Art Chicago, Pivot Arts Festival, Elevate Chicago Dance Festival, and Collaboraction. Brittany creates to uphold the integrity of African Diasporic art forms and to heal generational trauma. She’s been called both a hippie and a fawn on multiple, separate occasions.
