Mateo Hernandez is a Chicago-based actor/writer, theatre-maker, and teaching artist. His recent Chicago acting credits include The Lessons (Passage Theatre), The Man Who Was Thursday (u/s Lifeline Theatre), and Neverland (Prop Thtr). They are so excited to be a part of the world premiere of Back in the Day after performing in the workshop production this past summer. Mateo can also currently be seen performing in Luna at Filament Theatre while not performing here with UTC. He is a proud company member of FYI (For Youth Inquiry) which makes participatory theatre for young people around reproductive justice.
